PCI’s ASME and National Board Inspection Code Stamps:

 

“S” — Authorizes the manufacture and assembly of Power Boilers.
“U” — Authorizes the manufacture of Pressure Vessels.
“R” — Authorizes repair/alteration of boiler & pressure vessels that are already in service.
“NR” — Authorizes repairs, modifications, or replacements of certain nuclear components.
“NA” — Authorizes shop assembly and field installation at various locations accredited by ASME.
“NPT” — Authorizes the fabrication of nuclear partials without design responsibility and supply ferrous and nonferrous materials as an ASME “Material Organization.”
“PP” — Fabrication and assembly of pressure piping at various locations.
