Corporate Overview

PCI Energy Services, LLC was founded in 1970 to provide field machining services to heavy industrial customers. Today, nearly four decades later, PCI provides, in addition to field machining services, a breadth of services specializing in remote applications that include the design and manufacturing of specialty tools, quality assurance/quality control, and laser metrology for the nuclear power industry. PCI also serves industrial customers in the power, oil and gas, pulp and paper, and petrochemical industries.

PCI’s Corporate Headquarters is located in Lake Bluff, Illinois in a 100,000 plus square foot state-of-the-art facility. We also operate an Eastern Operations Center located in Ashland, Virginia and employ over 200 permanent full-time personnel and approximately 850 trained and highly qualified welding resources.

PCI is a subsidiary company of WEC Welding and Machining, a Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC.—a group company of Toshiba Corporation, and is the world’s pioneering nuclear power company and is a leading supplier of nuclear plant products and technologies to utilities on a global basis.

Today, PCI is the world’s largest provider of remote, orbital machine welding and field machining in the nuclear industry. Recognized as the premier specialty welding supplier, PCI has the ability to complete difficult, remote machining and welding in underwater and other hazardous environments.
